Professionals Share Career Advice with Accounting Students On April 17, 2002, the Providence College Accountancy Department sponsored a panel presentation, Beyond the Big 5: Career Options in Accounting. The panel consisted of area business professionals, several of whom are Providence College alumni, who all have an accounting background. Internships Over the winter of 1998, I was fortunate enough to obtain an internship with Coopers and Lybrand, L.L.P. in Hartford, Connecticut. This was undoubtedly one of the most educational experiences I have had related to my career at Providence College.
