The mission of the Office of Institutional Research (OIR) is to provide accurate data and analytical support for official institutional reporting and academic planning, and to improve institutional effectiveness by initiating and conducting original studies that inform policy development, academic programs, and the Providence College environment. It further serves the College community by acting as a resource for offices and departments in need of research expertise for projects and initiatives that serve the College.
