1-austriaco.jpgRev. Nicanor Austriaco, O.P., Ph.D., associate professor of biology, had an article entitled “Personalized Genomic Educational Testing: What Do the Undergrads Think?” appear in the February issue of The American Journal of Bioethics.

Dr. Christopher Bloom, associate professor of psychology, Dr. Shareen Holly, adjunct assistant professor of psychology, and Adam Miller ’10 wrote an article, “Self-Injurious Behavior vs. Nonsuicidal Self-Injury: The CNS Stimulant Pemoline as a Model of Self-Destructive Behavior,” that was published in the February edition of Crisis.

1-carlson.jpgDr. Licia Carlson, associate professor of philosophy, had an essay entitled “Are You My Mother? Finding the Self in (M)others” published in Philosophy in Children’s Literature, edited by Peter Costello, associate professor of philosophy, (Lexington Press, 2012).

Cindy DiDonato and Dr. William Oehlkers, both adjunct professors in the PC Graduate Literacy Program, co-authored an article, “Will Technology Advance Learning, or Prove a Distraction?,” which appeared in the March 23, 2012, online edition of Education Week. The article also appeared in the April 4 print edition.

Dr. Angela Dills, assistant professor of economics, co-wrote a paper with Rey Hernández-Julián, associate professor of economics at Metropolitan State College of Denver, entitled “Negative Publicity and Catholic Schools.” The article appeared in the January edition of Economic Inquiry.

Dr. Bruce Graver, professor of English, had an essay, “Sitting in Dante’s Throne: Wordsworth and Italian Nationalism,” published in Dante and Italy in British Romanticism (Palgrave, 2011). Graver also wrote and edited the entry on the American scholar George Ticknor for Nineteenth-Century Literary Criticism, Vol. 255 (Gale Cengage, 2012) and wrote the entries for “William Wordsworth” and “Pastoral and Georgic” in the Encyclopedia of Romantic Literature (Wiley-Blackwell, 2012).

Dr. Ian Levy, associate professor of theology, wrote Holy Scripture and the Quest for Authority at the End of the Middle Ages (Notre Dame Press, 2012).
