​Christopher P. Machado

Christopher P. Machado was named academic communications director in the Office of Academic Affairs in 2011. He has worked at Providence College since 2007.

Machado lends oversight and support to various public relations and integrated marketing initiatives--which include press releases, publications, and website development--on behalf of academic affairs.

Prior to his current position, Machado served as publications editor and assistant director of editorial services in the College’s Publications Center.

A former journalist, Machado earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Rhode Island.
