Ocean State Leadership Consortium

Providence College is a member of the Ocean State Leadership Consortium, a group of student activities and leadership development professionals from ten colleges and universities in Rhode Island.  Each year the Consortium sponsors a statewide conference open to all students who either hold leadership positions or who are seeking to become involved on their campus.  Past conferences have addressed empowerment, creativity, community service, and diversity.  The Consortium also offers statewide socials to offer students an opportunity to meet with people who hold similar leadership positions at other colleges in Rhode Island.

This year, students from each school represented within the Consortium will also have the opportunity to participate in LeaderShape Rhode Island, an interactive leadership development institute to be held May 28-June 3, 2007 at Roger Williams University.  

College Leadership Rhode Island

Providence College is honored to participate among ten RI colleges in Leadership Rhode Island's college program.  Each year, only three or four PC juniors are selected to participate in this high profile program.  The semester long program features seminars with prominent RI state and corporate leaders providing selected students with networking opportunities within the state.  Participants must have a commitment to remaining in RI after graduation.
