Mission Statement
The Office of Student Activities-Involvement-Leadership/Slavin Center promotes the development of community through the availability of co-curricular programs, essential services, and quality facilities. Our commitment to student development is demonstrated through the facilitation of leadership skill development programs, student employment opportunities, and social, cultural, pre-professional, and service activities.
Our facilities house services important to our college community, as well as, provide specially designed space where students and community members may gather. All of these experiences are directed at fostering the intellectual, social, moral, and spiritual growth of our students in a supportive environment.
In keeping with our mission statement, the Office of Student Activities Involvement Leadership / Slavin Center is an important resource for students at Providence College. Commonly referred to as the S.A.I.L. Office, our goal is to provide quality services to our students that will contribute to their academic and co-curricular success. We are proud of the facilities, services, and programs in our area and know that they help to make Providence College a positive experience for our students. The S.A.I.L. Office acts as a clearinghouse for information - if a student or parent needs to know something, they usually start by calling us and we are happy to help them find the answers they need!
