Consultation

The Personal Counseling Center provides consultation to faculty, coaches, staff, parents, students, and administration in support of a safe, healthy, and academically conducive environment. Consultation can include information regarding student issues and needs, trends, mental health issues, psychological advice, and strategies for crisis intervention and referral to the Personal Counseling Center and to off campus services.

Roommates, as well as groups of friends, are encouraged to meet with a counselor when they're not sure how to approach a friend who is experiencing a significant problem (i.e. eating disorder, depression, alcohol abuse, sexual assault).
