Using off-line locks

Your PC Card should be inserted into the lock with your photo face up and your name on the right. 

 

 

 

 

 

Once the card is inserted the center light above the card slot will display one of three colors:

 
An orange light means that a pin number is required.  Your pin number is the last four digits of your social security number.  When entering your pin number it is important to press each button firmly. 

Cardholders will be locked out for 3 minutes, if they incorrectly enter their PIN 6 times in a row.

 

A green light means that the door is unlocked and no pin number is required.

 

 

 

A red light means that your card was denied.
