The disciplinary process of Providence College is viewed as an integal part of its educative process, assisting in the individual's growth and experience as well as protecting the College community from persons who might damage the mission and goals of the College and the necessary atmosphere for academic pursuits.  A student should learn through the disciplinary proceedings how one's inappropriate behavior impedes the academic ambiance of the College.

The Division of Student Services of the College, through its disciplinary officer, has been given the responsibility of administrating the College disciplinary procedure.
