Medical insurance is mandatory for all Providence College students.
Students must submit information about existing medical insurance on their health record and update the Health Center as to any changes in coverage.  A photocopy of both sides of the card is advised.

The following information is required:

• the name of the insurance company
• its mailing address
• its telephone number
• the policy number
• the subscriber's name
  

Please note it is the reponsibility of each student to evaluate and understand the requirements of his/her medical coverage.
For students who have no medical coverage, the College offers an insurance plan. 

NOTE: The billing for such services as lab work, X-ray, prescriptions and referrals to specialists is the responsibility of the student.
