Resident Student Parking Application Process:

Seniors and juniors register for a parking permit prior to the beginning of the school year.  Due to limited parking spaces, it is imperative that all applications for parking permits be returned promptly.  Print out the application and attach a copy of the insurance with your name on the policy.  Unfortunately we CANNOT GUARANTEE every applicant a parking space.

Freshmen and sophomores are not allowed to have vehicles on campus.

Parking Application Process:

The Office of Safety & Security will start accepting applications on April 1^th and continue accepting applications until April 25^th.  Any application received after April 25^th will be put on a waiting list.  There are a limited number of parking spaces available, and we cannot guarantee a parking space.     

Applications must be delivered to the Office of Safety and Security, Monday through Friday during the hours of 9:00 am to 3:00 pm .  Applications will not be accepted on Saturday or Sunday, or by mail.   Applications must be hand delivered.

All applications must be accompanied by proof of insurance with the applicant’s name on the policy indicating they have permission to drive the vehicle.  Each applicant must have $50,000 in liability insurance.

Any senior or junior who does not need to have a vehicle on campus during the fall semester, but will need a vehicle for an internship during the spring semester, needs to apply.

Any senior or junior going abroad in the fall of 2008, or spring of 2009, needs to apply.  Your sticker is non-transferable.  If you are planning to go abroad in the fall and will be returning in the spring, your sticker will be waiting for you.

Parking Stickers:

Once a sticker is obtained, it must be placed in the driver’s side of the windshield.  The sticker is not to be removed or transferred.  If a student returns to the campus with a different vehicle or new windshield, the old sticker must be removed in order to receive a new sticker.
