Engaged Learning

By preparing students to connect what they learn to their lives and careers, Providence College places an emphasis on engaging students so they grow intellectually, socially, morally, and spiritually. Engaged learning reinforces classroom teaching, develops critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills, and allows students to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges.

The Center for Student Engagement -- a signature goal of PC's Strategic Plan -- will soon be unveiled. Its mission will be to promote, enhance, and expand the College’s efforts to engage students deeply in their learning through expanded experiential research, study, and service opportunities, and by publicly recognizing students’ best scholarly and creative work.
