Senior Ring Weekend

Ringing in a New Tradition

SENIOR RING WEEKEND

“It’s Our Time”

Dear Class of 2016,

It is finally our time to officially kick off our Senior Ring Weekend Events. This tradition began in 1917 and has transformed into an amazing tradition that is looked forward to by all in the senior class. To formally kick off the Senior Ring Weekend, we will be showcasing our specifically designed class ring at our October 6th Ring Premiere. There will also be an additional premiere in the spring semester. The premiere is when the Ring Core gets to unveil the ring that was designed earlier by us for the class of 2016. The ring design is detailed with specific PC moments, architecture and symbols that we felt truly represent our class. After the premiere there will be opportunities to order and purchase your class ring.

Once your ring is purchased there are more exciting events planned. Our core has been putting the best SRW together since the end of sophomore year. The events include Special Events Night, Formal Night, and Family Mass when your ring is personally blessed by the PC Dominicans. Receiving you ring on SRW Sunday with your family by your side provides a moment of accomplishment for all of your hard work here at PC. When you open your ring with your family it is symbolic of the new friar family you are accepting into your life. The ring represents forever being a Friar.

We hope that you, the class of 2016, will join us in celebrating Senior Ring Weekend. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity!
