Cardboard

The Providence College Recycling Program accepts all corrugated cardboard boxes for recycling.  The College has 2 cardboard compactors located on campus, one at Alumni Loading Dock and the other at Physical Plant.  Please follow these procedures for recycling your cardboard boxes:

Students
When students move in every September, the campus is plagued with thousands and thousands of cardboard boxes.  To help appease this situation, please break down and flatten any boxes you wish to get rid of.  Then place them in the trash room on your floor, off to the side, but not in the trash barrels.  Hurley of America will take the cardboard separately for recycling.  Please follow this procedure throughout the entire school year.

Faculty and Staff
Please break down and flatten any boxes you wish to get rid of and place next to your blue paper recycling bin.  Hurley of America will take the cardboard separately for recycling.
