​Dore Hall

Open to female students from all class years, Dore Hall offers single, double, triple and quad housing options.  Dore Hall is located on East Campus near the student health center, personal counseling center, and the Smith Center for the Arts.

Dore Hall, formerly property of the Chapin Hospital, was acquired by Providence College in 1975 as an all-male residence hall.  Dore Hall is named for Rev. Vincent C. Dore, O.P. '23 who served as president of the college from 1961-1965.  In 1979, Dore Hall was renovated and converted to an all-female residence hall.
