All classes are cancelled today, Wednesday January 28th, including all day school classes, graduate classes, and evening classes through the School of Continuing Education & School of Business. Personal Counseling Center Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8:30am to 4:30pm
-Evening hours on Tuesday by appointment when school is in session.

 

Appointments

To schedule an appointment at the Personal Counseling Center, you can call (401) 865-2343 or stop in the office. We are located in Lower Bedford Hall, next to Student Health.  Students can generally be seen within a week of their initial request for an appointment and if the need is urgent, can be seen on the same day. 

*Because e-mail is not a secure method of communication, we recommend that you not use e-mail to contact us or to schedule appointments.

  

Office Hours

The Personal Counseling Center is open Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm.  Appointments are also available on Tuesday evenings when school is in session.

Counseling sessions are 45- 50 minutes long and students are encouraged to be prompt in order to make full advantage of the session. If you anticipate being late or being unable to keep your appointment, please call.

Before meeting with a counselor, students are asked to complete an Intake Assessment Form and an Informed Consent for Assessment and Treatment.  If the student prefers, these forms can be downloaded and completed at home and then brought with them to the first session.
