    More than 1,150 members of the Providence College community--including College President Rev. Brian J. Shanley, O.P. '80 and the entire Class of 2013--will be working at 37 sites throughout the state on September 5. more
  • U.S. News Recognizes Providence College for High Graduation and Retention Rates, Best Value Among National Peers
    Providence College was ranked second in the North Region's "Best Universities-Master's" category in the 2010  U.S. News & World Report's America's Best Colleges guide. more
  • PC Adopts E-Billing for Tuition Payments
    The Office of the Bursar at Providence College will unveil a new system that will allow all undergraduate students to receive, view, print, and pay their tuition bills electronically. more

  • Mason '96 Creates Sports Drink SwingJuice
    Jon Mason '96 has created his own sports energy drink, SwingJuice, which is currently available in six flavors and in more than 100 locations. more

  • Cammi Granato '93 was quoted in a July 28 Chicago Tribune story entitled "Former Blackhawk Amonte named to U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame." The 1998 U.S. Olympics Women's Ice Hockey Team will be among those inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame this year. Seven members of the team, including Granato, were Providence College alumni or students at the time.

  • Thatcher '06 Named To US National Hockey Team
    Karen Thatcher '06 was one of 23 players selected to the 2009-10 U.S. National Team. She is looking to become the ninth former Friar to compete in the Olympic Games. more
