    Providence College President Rev. Brian J. Shanley, O.P. '80 told business leaders he remains opposed to proposals to impose a student impact fee and collect taxes on the College's assessed property value. more

    Eight Providence College students each will provide more than 300 hours of service to local community organizations this summer as part of the AmeriCorps Scholarships for Service (SFS) Recovery Program. more
  • Doetzel '09 Wins 10,000-Meter Title At 2009 NCAA Championship
    Danette Doetzel '09 claimed her first NCAA title by winning the 10,000 meters at the national meet on June 11. She is the 10th woman in Providence College history to win the NCAA individual title. more

    Danette Doetzel '09, a five-time All-American runner at Providence College, has been named the NCAA Division I Northeast Region Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. more
  • Royer, Gent '11, Morris '11 Gain International Volleyball Experience in Scotland
    A team coached by Providence College head volleyball coach Margot Royer, and including Meredith Gent '11 and Emily Morris '11, finished second in the Scottish Open. more
