• Rev. David L. Stokes, Jr., PC assistant professor of theology, wrote a column, "David Lewis Stokes: Updike, Barth and Eros's Divine Dance," that appeared in the May 8 edition of The Providence Journal. Father Stokes is a frequent contributor to the Journal.

The longest-running PC publication is The Alembic, which is an international literary journal, published annually by the Providence College Department of English. The Alembic, which debuted in 1920, features the work of both established and student writers.
