    Award-winning documentary filmmaker Martin J. Doblmeier '73, whose acclaimed productions include Bonhoeffer and The Power of Forgiveness, will present the Commencement Address at Providence College's Ninety-First Commencement Exercises on Sunday, May 17, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in downtown Providence. more

    Providence College alumni and students will collaborate with the City of Providence to refurbish the historic Esek Hopkins Homestead as part of the College's FUSION efforts. more

    Sister Diane Kennedy, O.P., the former president of the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada, will lecture on "Dominican Women in the 21st Century" at this year's St. Catherine of Siena Lecture at PC on April 23. more
  • Providence College to Host Screening of Film on Human, Civil Rights
    Red Terror on the Amber Coast: Soviet Occupation--Lithuanian Resistance, 1939-1993, produced by Rev. Kenneth R. Gumbert, O.P., PC associate professor of film studies in theatre arts, will be screened on April 29 at 8:00 p.m. on campus. more
