• PC 'Habitat' Students Honored by West Virginian Mayor
  The city of Huntington, W.Va., proclaimed March 9 "Providence College Appreciation Day" in honor of the 10 students who spent their Spring Break constructing a home through Habitat for Humanity.  more
• PC Students Spur 'Best Buddies Day' Proclamation
  Thanks to the efforts of some Providence College students, Mayor David N. Cicilline declared March 5 as "Best Buddies Day" in Providence. more

• Paul J. Maloney, C.P.A., CFP, assistant professor of finance, wrote an opinion piece that appeared in the March 5 edition of The Providence Journal. The op-ed, "Paul J. Maloney: Financial education in America's schools," outlined recent national actions regarding financial literacy.

• Three PC Runners Named All-Americans
  Danette Doetzel '09, David McCarthy '11, and Hayden McLaren '10 earned the honors after their performances at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships. more
