• David '55, Steven '86 Webster Included in Best Lawyers Publication
  David N. Webster '55 and his son, Steven T. Webster '86, were recently featured in Best Lawyers in America 2009, the oldest peer-reviewed publication in the legal profession. more
• Alumni Club to March in NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade
  The Providence College Club of New York will march for the fourth time in the New York City St. Patrick's Day parade on March 17. more

• Ray Treacy '82, director of cross country and track and field operations, and a number of former Providence College runners, were featured in a February 21 Irish Times article entitled, "Treacy's keen Providence keeps his PC running strong."

• Friars Men's Basketball Team to Face Miami in NIT First Round
  The men's basketball team will make its first appearance in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) since 2007 when the Friars play Miami (Fla.) on Wednesday, March 18, at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence. The game will be televised on ESPN2. more
• Doetzel '09, McCarthy '11, McLaren '10 Finish Strong at NCAA Championships
  David McCarthy '11 and Hayden McLaren '10 finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the final of the mile at the NCAA Championship, while Danette Doetzel '09 placed fifth in the 5,000 meters.
