Rev. David L. Stokes, Jr., associate professor of theology, wrote an opinion piece that was printed in the January 30 edition of The Providence Journal. The perspective, "David Lewis Stokes, Jr.: Yank the invocators," outlined Father Stokes' view on the invocations given at President Barack Obama's inauguration.
