• Jonathan F. Stone, adjunct instructor of finance, was profiled in a story that was printed in the December 17 edition of The Providence Journal. The story, "The new keeper of the Bay," highlighted Stone being named executive director of Save the Bay.

• Margot Royer, PC volleyball coach, was inducted into the University of Scranton's Wall of Fame on January 10. As a student-athlete at Scranton, Royer was named the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom League MVP in 1994 and earned All-Conference First Team honors in 1993 and 1994.
