  The onetime Rhode Island General Assembly page as a PC student has been named the first female president of the state's Senate. more

• Dr. Peter M. Johnson, professor of English, was interviewed for a story that ran in the January 11 edition of The Providence Sunday Journal. In addition, one of his poems, "Happy," accompanied the piece entitled, "Peter Johnson dials down the negative noise."
