Lafrennie Joins NBA as VP of Marketing Communications
David M. Lafrennie '82, a onetime student assistant in the Providence College Department of Athletics, has been named the National Basketball Association's vice president of marketing communications. more

Karen Ignagni '75 was interviewed for a story that aired on the January 6 edition of NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. The story, "Can America afford to heal its healthcare?" focused on President-elect Barack Obama's proposed healthcare policies. Ignagni is president and CEO of America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), the trade association representing the nation's health maintenance organizations.
