• Greater Boston Alumni Club Leads Food Bank Effort
  Fifty members of the Providence College Club of Greater Boston recently packed and sorted more than 11,000 pounds of food. more

• Ryan W. Pearson '10 of Cumberland, R.I., was interviewed for a story that ran in the November 6 edition of The Valley Breeze. The story, "Cumberland School Committee gains newcomers; 3 interested in top post," captured Pearson's views on what he would like to accomplish as a newcomer to the Cumberland School Committee.

• Lauren Swidler '11 was named the Providence College Department of Political Science Forand Scholar. The Aime J. and Gertrude B Forand Scholarship is awarded in memory of Congressman Aime J. Forand, who represented the First Congressional District of Rhode Island in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1937 to 1961.
