Friars’ Cross Country Teams Qualify for NCAA Championships
BRONX, N.Y. – Providence College won the women’s race and placed second in the men’s race at the NCAA Division I Northeast Regional Cross Country Championships on November 15 at Van Cortlandt Park. Both teams automatically qualified for the NCAA Division I Championships on November 24 in Terre Haute, Ind. more

Rev. John C. Vidmar, O.P., associate professor of theology, has been appointed as the College's new faculty athletics representative to the NCAA. He succeeds Rev. Robert A. Morris, O.P. '44. The representative oversees the academic integrity of the College's athletics program and serves as a liaison between the student-athletes and the faculty.
