  • Byrnes '92 Returns to PC Stage as Director
    After traveling the country directing and performing in numerous productions, Brendan Byrnes '92 has come home to Providence College to direct the production of Charley's Aunt.  more

  • Jacqueline Kiernan MacKay, associate dean of undergraduate studies and director of the PC Parents Program, was interviewed for a story, "Helping 'helicopter parents' to stop hovering," which appeared in the Fall 2008 College and University Guide of the Rhode Island Catholic, the newspaper of the Diocese of Providence. This feature article built on commentaries she authored that appeared in the Sept. 6 edition of The Providence Journal and the Sept. 1 issue of The Hartford Courant. The piece also was posted on the Web site of College Parents for America, a national association dedicated to serving current and future college parents.

  • Late Night Madness countdown continues
    First-year men's basketball Head Coach Keno Davis' Friars will open the 2008-09 season on Friday, October 17, with the annual Late Night Madness in Mullaney Gym on campus. Admission is free and doors will open at 9:30 p.m. more
