Noted Scholars to Deliver Varied Lectures at PC
Providence College will host several noteworthy presentations in the next month. Scholars from the President's Council on Bioethics, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, and the University of Notre Dame will speak, and a colloquium on Vatican II also is scheduled.

Quinn '05 Conducts at London's Royal Academy of Music
Troy Quinn '05, special lecturer in music and director of the PC Women's Chorus, recently took part in a two-week conducting program at London's Royal Academy of Music. more

Adrian Beaulieu, dean of the Center for International Studies, was quoted in a September 11 story in Inside Higher Ed, an online, higher-education publication. The story, headlined "Calculating Credits for Short-Term Study Abroad," addressed academic credit for college study abroad participants.

Megan Horsman Berlo '00 of Mishawaka, Ind., recently was selected as the Governor of Red Sox Nation (RSN) for the state of Indiana. RSN is the official fan club of the Boston Red Sox, and governors serve as liaisons in connecting Red Sox fans in their state to each other and to their favorite team.
