MISSION STATEMENT

Recognizing that a liberal arts education can be enriched through diverse intellectual and social experiences, the Center for International Studies offers a comprehensive program of junior year abroad options for undergraduate students.  The junior year abroad program provides an opportunity for selected students to participate in an international academic experience at institutions of higher education in other countries which have been chosen for their potential to meet the needs of Providence College students.  The Center for Internationals Studies seeks to establish relationships with universities abroad which are consistent with the values of Providence College, provide opportunities for learning in an international scholarly environment, encourage development of personal growth, and enhance the reputation of Providence College within the U.S. and abroad.
