Providence College Residence Life Office Policy

Applicants for study abroad should understand that the residence policy requires all students who wish to live on campus to commit to residing on campus for the entire academic year.  The policy means that students who request to study abroad for only one semester must pay for an entire year's residence, find a replacement for their room, or live in the traditional halls. This policy is in effect for both apartments and residence halls.  Before signing a contract for housing on campus, applicants for study abroad should carefully assess their plans and discuss the implications with their parents .

Contact the Office of Residence Life for information on housing policies and options.
