Welcome to the PACT website!

Here you will find some information about the PACT program and procedures for applying to the program.
PACT Teachers teach in Catholic diocesan schools in the New England region. At present we have over forty young men and women teaching in more than twenty schools in Massachusetts and Rhode Island . Our program is growing rapidly and we are planning expansion into other New England states in the coming years.
PACT is looking to attract graduates from around the country who have a spirit of service and a desire to contribute to the renewal and enrichment of Catholic schools. The PACT program has four components which promote and support the members' growth and development as Catholic educators: Professional Studies leading to a Master of Education degree, Community Living, Spiritual Growth and Service as a teacher.
We welcome applications from creative, generous, committed, single, young Catholic men and women. We seek recent graduates with majors in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, History, Math, Spanish, French, Italian and Theology or Religious Studies. Education graduates with elementary, middle or high school teacher certification are welcome also.
Our program has been very successful. Schools are requesting more teachers from our program each year and several graduates already hold administrative responsibilities in their schools.
I hope you find our website informative. Do not hesitate to contact the PACT office if you have any questions. Mrs. Donna Grist, the program's administrative assistant, Mrs. Karen Brennan, Assistant Director or I will be delighted to answer your inquiries.
Yours sincerely,
Br. Patrick Carey cfc, Ph.D.
Director
