Alumni to cheer on Friars’ basketball at regional meet-ups

Regional alumni clubs of the PC National Alumni Association will host men’s basketball pre-game receptions and meet-ups in eight locations this season. The first is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.

DWC Program to host reading of Virgil's epic poem, the Aeneid

Continuing a new tradition, more than 400 students and faculty read Virgil’s epic poem aloud for more than 10 hours in the Ruane Center's Great Room.

Dr. Robert B. Hackey, professor of health policy and management and director of PC’s Health Policy and Management Program, leads a discussion following the Nov. 17 campus performance of Ajax: A Community Conversation About Returning Veterans. Cast members — some of whom are pictured in the background — included Aubrey Dion ’14, a theatre arts major. Hackey, the play’s producer, developed the idea for Ajax, which was performed in five locations around Rhode Island and was based on the play from ancient Greece by Sophocles.
