Committee Charge
Providence College has secured a three-year $250,000 grant from the Davis Educational Foundation to support the College's "Fostering a Culture of Student Engagement" initiative. As a significant component of the College's recently adopted Strategic Plan, this project is expected to advance the College's vision for academic excellence. Leadership for the project will be provided by the Student Engagement Advisory Committee.
Overall, the Committee will coordinate and execute activities that are designed to promote and enhance student engagement in learning: (1) an ongoing speaker and workshop series; (2) a Fall Faculty Seminar on Student Engagement; (3) student engagement mini-grants; and (4) an annual campus celebration of scholarship, creativity, and engaged learning.
