Acceptance by Providence College Admissions is imperative. Once you have passed our audition process, and once you are admitted to Providence  College , you may declare music or music education as your major.

The Providence College Department of Music annual Open House is held in November. This event allows potential students a first -hand experience of college life as a music student. The music faculty with representatives from admissions and financial aid will be offering an informational session to answer your questions regarding those areas at Providence College. You will also have an opportunity to attend music classes, ensemble rehearsals and hear students perform.
We encourage students who intend to apply to Providence College as Music Majors to audition at this time.

Audition music for our accompanist must be received by the Department of Music two weeks prior to audition date.
