Eliot teaches at the Music School , the Wheeler School , Brown University , Rhode Island College, St. George’s , UMass Dartmouth and Providence College , in addition to his private studio. He has served as principal bass in the Rhode Island Philharmonic, Vermont Symphony, Portland Symphony and the New Haven Symphony. He has performed with the Boston Ballet, Ocean State Lyric Opera, Festival Ballet and Newport Music Festival. Eliot has played in many pit orchestras for musical theater, locally and on international tours. As a rhythm section player, he has accompanied many artists including Connie Francis, Patti Lupone, Charlotte Church and Bernadette Peters, as well as local artists like Rose Weaver and Chris Turner.
