David Riley received a BM in guitar performance and a MM in theoretical studies/composition from the New England Conservatory of Music.  Currently, he is a PhD. Candidate in musicology/theory at the University of Connecticut .

David has participated in numerous guitar festivals in the US and competed in the 2000 GFA International Guitar Competition in San Antonio , Texas .  As a freelance musician, he has performed extensively throughout the New England area.
