 The Private Lessons




MSC 150-175 APPLIED MUSIC FOR NON-MAJORS
1 semester, 1½ credits

These are private lessons open to all interested students;
instructors teach once a week on a one-to-one basis.
Lessonsdo not count as a fifth course. There is an additional
fee for these lessons. Students must also register in the
Music Department (Smith Center for the Arts G04)

MSC 350-375 APPLIED MUSIC III  (SENIOR MUSIC MAJORS ONLY)
1 semester, 1½ credits

A music major may advance to this level of private instruction
when the faculty feels the student is prepared to
meet the standards for upper-division applied study.*
These lessons are available after the completion of a successful
jury for advancement. There is an additional fee
for these lessons. Prerequisites: Applied Music II and permission
of department. Students must also register in the
music department for each of the following lessons:
