Email Security and Phishing Scams
A phishing scam is an attempt to extract information that is not normally shared. Phishing scams mostly occur in e-mails where the address and e-mail may be masked to look as though it is from an authentic source. The information ranges from personally identifiably information such as social security numbers or bank accounts to passwords and credit card numbers.
