Providence College students who demonstrate financial need are eligible to participate in the federal off-campus work-study program. The program is constructed so that students can work at nonprofit organizations throughout the community and receive pay through the federal goverment. A benefit of off-campus work-study is that it allows for students to gain real world experience related to their interests and field of study while at the same time serving as a resource to community organizations.
