For students wishing to concentrate on polishing their writing skills both by the practice of expository writing/editing and by examining good literary models, the following eighteen hours/six courses are recommended as constituting a Minor in Writing:

b. Six hours/two courses in English literature and language chosen from the following:
Courses in literature of level 200 or above
Courses in language, including:
LIN 201 Introduction to Linguistics I
LIN 202 Introduction to Linguistics II
