The Alembic is an international literary journal featuring the work of both
established and student writers. It is published each April by Providence
College in Providence, Rhode Island. We encourage potential contributors to
become familiar with the journal. The subscription rate in the United States
is $15 for two years and sample copies are available for $7.
Submissions are read from August 1st through November 15th only. Please
include a sentence or two for "Contributor's Notes." No manuscripts or
artwork can be returned, nor any query answered, unless accompanied by a
self-addressed, stamped envelope. The Alembic accepts no responsibility for
unsolicited submissions and will not enter into correspondence about their
loss or delay. Materials published in The Alembic may not be reprinted, in
whole or in part, without written permission from the editors.
