The Elmhurst Home Ownership Program affords Providence College employees and their adult children the opportunity to purchase a home in the area with minimal down payment. Initiated by Providence College, and in partnership with Roger Williams Medical Center and Rhode Island Housing (RIH), the program features a $3,000 Providence College grant, reduced fees, and an additional $1,000 grant from RIH specifically for the Providence College community. The medical center offers its employees the same grant, in addition to the RIH-financed package.
