How do I apply?

How do I declare a major?
Undergraduate students must declare a major by March of their sophomore year.  For information concerning the admission requirements for the individual programs go to the programs list on the left.

When do I start getting experience in a classroom?
Most undergraduates begin field experiences in their sophomore year.

Are Providence College education programs accredited?
The college is accredited by NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) and all education programs are accredited by RIDE (RI Department of Education). For information on Providence College accreditation go to Resources and click on the appropriate link.

How well do students do on state certification exams?
A requirement for program completion is that all students must pass all state and program required certification tests.
