Campus Ministry Program
Campus Ministry seeks to provide opportunities for faith development, service, and growth in community for the students of the College. Two former components, the Pastoral Service Organization and the Spiritual and Liturgical Council, have been encompassed in Campus Ministry.

The opportunities for growth in faith offered through Campus Ministry include attending or serving at daily and weekend Masses and participating in music groups and choirs, Bible studies, retreats, discussion groups, and more. Campus Ministry also affords students the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of fellow students and citizens in the Greater Providence community and beyond through multiple social outreach programs. Service opportunities include Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, and volunteering at local soup kitchens and nursing homes.

In addition, students are encouraged to live and develop in solid, meaningful community. Social outreach activities such as picnics, outings, sporting events, and small-group opportunities provide moments for students to meet one another and begin lifelong friendships.

Weddings at St. Dominic Chapel
Providence College alumni, members of the current faculty and staff, and degree-seeking students are eligible to be married in St. Dominic Chapel on the College campus. The chapel accommodates up to 600 worshipers. The College provides a wedding consultant, who works with interested parties in reserving the chapel and answering all questions about policies, procedures, and details of the event.

The chapel is available for weddings at the following times only:

Wedding reservations should be made at least six months in advance.
