Very Rev. Kenneth Letoile, O.P.
Pastor, St. Pius V Parish

Career Path Highlights: After graduating from PC as a Liberal Arts Honors Program participant, Rev. Letoile attended the Dominican House of Studies' Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception, where he earned his S.T.L. degree in 1975. He was assigned to St. Ann's Parish in Kingstree, S.C., where he served as administrator for three years.

In 1978, Rev. Letoile was named vocation director of the Province of St. Joseph, serving for three years. He then served for eight years as pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Jersey City, N.J. In 1989, Rev. Letoile was assigned to St. Pius V Parish in Providence, R.I., serving two years as associate pastor before being named pastor in 1991. He served as pastor until 1999, when he was named pastor of St. Gertrude Parish in Cincinnati, Ohio, and later, prior of the Dominican Community, which includes the novitiate for the Eastern Province. While there Rev. Letoile oversaw a capital campaign that included the construction of a new parish school. He served there until April 2008, when he was asked to return as pastor to St. Pius Parish.

He has been a member of the Provincial Council of the Dominican Province of St. Joseph since 1997.

Staying Involved: Rev. Letoile was appointed to the College's Board of Trustees in 1998. He is chairman of the Catholic and Dominican Mission Committee and serves on the Student Affairs Committee. He is also a serving as a member of the College's Corporation. Rev. Letoile was awarded the Bishop Harkins Award for outstanding service to the Catholic Church by the National Alumni Association in 2004.
