Grants and scholarships are forms of assistance that do not have to be repaid to the agency or benefactor giving the award.  At Providence College , grants and scholarships can be awarded to a student in a variety of ways through a variety of sources. 

Grants and scholarships that could appear on your Financial Aid Notice may come from institutional (merit or need-based), federal, state or outside sources.
