Fitness in Motion -                           Mind, Body, Spirit                             Active U

Start it up. Step it up. Keep it up.

Build activity into your daily routine and enjoy the benefits of improved strength, flexibility, stamina, muscle tone, sleep, stress release, energy, and cardiovascular health.

PC Active U 2007 can help you do it…

Active U Physical Activity for Life Program

Active U is an 8-week physical activity program designed to challenge participants to move more. If you're not active, this is your opportunity to start it up. If you want to be more active, use this program to step it up. And if you're already where you want to be, Active U can help you keep it up!

Every single faculty member, every single staff member, every single  student—all are welcome to join Active U! Join in teams or join on your own, but join in and stay active.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS...

Form a team or go it alone.
Register on this website now through February 16. Invite colleagues to join a team together or join on your own. Either way, you’ll be able to track  your personal and/or team activity  throughout the Active U program—just log your activity at least once a week using the pedometer. More info & rules Log Sheets

Set your goal.
You can choose a personal goal level based on your current state of fitness and desired activity level. Individuals of all activity levels can participate—from never-ever exercisers to elite athletes.

Track your progress and stay motivated.

Participants will receive a pedometer and weekly e-mail messages providing motivation, education on various health topics, and information on upcoming programs. Visit the PC Healthy website regularly for health information, motivational tips, and links to other PC physical activity events and programs. Weekly email messages, incentives, and the opportunity to win prizes for completing the program will help keep you motivated!  Step converter  ~ Step cal.

Make a small commitment.
When you enroll, make another commitment—make a donation.  So everyone who enrolls has the opportunity to earn some serious money for charity.

Walk, run, swim, bike, play basketball, do yoga or Pilates, lift weights, dance or log miles in a wheelchair. Do it inside or out. It all counts.

Get Active U! Because fitness is for Every Body!
(now through February 16)
