Directions to Providence College
Huxley Avenue Gate

From Fall River, New Bedford, and Cape Cod:  Take I-195 West to I-95 North, to Rhode Island Exit 23 (State Offices).  Turn right onto Orms Street.  Proceed straight on Orms Street for 0.3 miles to second traffic light at Smith Street (Route 44).  Turn right onto Smith Street and proceed .7 miles to Huxley Avenue.  Turn right onto Huxley Avenue and cross Eaton Street.  The gate to the college will be on your left.

From Boston and Points North using I-95:  Follow I-95 South to Rhode Island Exit 23 (Charles Street).  Proceed right onto Charles Street and go 0.2 miles to the first light at Admiral Street.  Take a left onto Admiral Street and proceed approximately .9 miles to Huxley Avenue.  Take a left onto Huxley Avenue and the gate to the college will be on your right.

From New York, Southern Connecticut, and Points South:  Take I-95 North to Rhode Island Exit 23 (State Offices).  Turn right onto Orms Street.  Proceed straight on Orms Street for 0.3 miles to second traffic light at Smith Street (Route 44).  Turn right onto Smith Street and proceed .7 miles along Smith Street to Huxley Avenue.  Turn right onto Huxley Avenue and cross Eaton Street.  The gate to the college will be on your left.

From Albany and Western Massachusetts using I-90:  Take I-90 East to Exit 10A (Worcester/Providence, Routes 146/20) which will lead you to Route 146 South (Providence). Follow Route 146 South into Providence, RI to the Admiral Street exit.  Take a right onto Admiral Street and proceed approximately .9 miles to Huxley Avenue.  Take a left onto Huxley Avenue and the gate to the college will be on your right.

From Hartford and Central Connecticut:  Take I-84 to Route 2 East.  Follow Route 2 East to Norwich, CT and then take I-395 North. Proceed along I-395 North to Route 6 East. Take Route 6 East into Johnston, RI. Proceed along Route 6 East to Route 10 North to the Dean Street/Atwells Avenue exit. At the top of exit ramp, turn left onto Dean Street and proceed to Smith Street (Route 44).  Turn left onto Smith Street and proceed along Smith Street for 0.2 miles to the first set of traffic lights at River Avenue. Turn right onto River Avenue and proceed 0.2 miles to Huxley Avenue.  Turn right onto Huxley Avenue and proceed across Eaton Street.  The gate to the college will be on your left.
